Litten Nature Reserve is now raising money for new gates and storage...

Why Donate? We want everyone in the local community to beable to access this wonderful secret woodland. Updating storage and the gates will maximise the sites potential, offering better facilities for all existing visitors and new ones.

How much? The minimum donation is £2 and there is no upper limit.

Open Day 2015

Posted by john.morrell on July 5, 2015 at 1:45 PM Comments comments (0)

Open day for 2015 was later than normal (27th June) so it would not clash with other nature events around the area.  The weather was fine and we had over 120 visitors.  It was a great day, the Art group joined us of the first time and Rachel ran Field School events in the story cicle.  Beryl did her nature walk which was well attended and lasted over one and half hours.  Oscar did a story in the cicle which went well and there was pond dipping.  Lest Newts this year which maybe due to the very dry weather and the work carried out of all the ponds.  Date for next year not set, but looks like it will be the last Saturday in June.

A big thank you to all the friends who helped and the vistors who came.  Have alook at the photos in the gallery
